Who we are

ProoveMe (“we”, “us”) operates prooveme.com, a platform that helps professionals turn real work into evidence-backed profiles, and helps employers discover people based on what they've actually delivered. What we collect

Depending on how you use ProoveMe, we collect:

• Account details: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
• Professional information you choose to add: headline, industry, location, a summary, and the content of any Impact Thread you create (the situation, decision, action, outcome, skills and evidence you describe).
• Evidence files you upload in support of an Impact Thread.
• For employer accounts: company name, company size, country and job title.
• Basic usage data collected through our analytics provider, used only to understand how the product is used, not to build advertising profiles.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Create and operate your account, and authenticate you when you sign in.
• Show your public profile to the audience you choose, based on the visibility settings you control.
• Send account-related emails, password resets, confirmation that your password changed, and a welcome message when you sign up.
• Let employers discover and review profiles that professionals have made discoverable.
• Maintain the security of the platform and improve how it works.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run ProoveMe, each of them only receives what they need to perform their function:

• Hosting and infrastructure, to run the website itself.
• Database storage, primarily processed within the EU.
• File storage, for evidence you upload.
• Email delivery, for transactional emails such as password resets.
• Business mailboxes, for messages sent to our team addresses.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of ProoveMe, our users, or others.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and content are permanently removed, except where we're required to retain limited records for legal or security reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses of it. You can export or permanently delete your account and data at any time from your account settings, or by emailing privacy@prooveme.com.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and basic first-party analytics to understand how the site is used. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

Children

ProoveMe is intended for working professionals and is not directed at, or knowingly used to collect information from, children.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as ProoveMe evolves. If we make material changes, we'll let you know by email or through the product.
